Description
Which Phase Does This Take Place?
Smoke Testing
Smoke Testing, also known as “Build Verification Testing”, is a type of software testing that comprises of a non-exhaustive set of tests that aim at ensuring that the most important functions work. The results of this testing are used to decide if a build is stable enough to proceed with further testing.
Preparation
White Box Testing
Also known as glass box, structural, clear box and open box testing. A software testing technique whereby explicit knowledge of the internal workings of the item being tested are used to select the test data. Unlike black box testing, white box testing uses specific knowledge of programming code to examine outputs.

Black Box Testing
Black-box testing is a method of software testing that examines the functionality of an application without peering into its internal structures or workings
Beta
Clean Room Testing
This testing is all based on game player playstyle evaluation. Players are watched and observed as they experience the game, while testers carefully inspect and pay attention to the player activity. This involves looking at most played maps, most used weapons, character playstyle, map playstyle, map pathing, death timers, death spots, level completion times and many more.
Gold
Play Testing
A playtest is the process by which a game designer tests a new game for bugs and design flaws before bringing it to market.
Certificate
Ad Hoc Testing
This testing is never structured, its used to identify final last bugs and problems with the game and get them fixed before release date is due.
